ANDREW SAMSON - FOCUS PULLER (1AC)

BIOGRAPHY

Andrew Samson is a local documentary maker and film producer. Graduating from Curtin in 2017, with a BA in Screen Arts, Andrew has been involved in the making of numerous short films, including 'Imperial' (2015) and 'Council' (2016). He has experience in transmedia storytelling, integrating film with theatre in the Hayman's production of 'The Emperor's New Clothes', directed by Rhiannon Peterson. Andrew has a passion for media technologies, and assisting others to use them to tell their own stories.

MISSION

On 'The Light', I'll be utilising skills that I've developed, by filling the role of 1st Assistant Camera. I'll be pulling camera focus, and performing camera maintenance. My goal is to work cohesively with the cinematographer and camera department to ensure that setups run smoothly and efficiently.
