NICOLA KINNANE - LIBBY
Nicola Kinnane has attended dance lessons since the age of three and developed a passion for drama at the age of seven and took classes at Helen O’Grady Drama School. She has since participated in many acting workshops and classes.
Her first theatre role was as Merry in Snow White at the age of eleven, which played at the Old Mill Theatre in 2013. Since then she has starred in many other local theatre/stage productions including Footloose, James & The Giant Peach, The Snow Queen, So Much to Tell You and The Young Harts Talent Showcase at HBF Stadium where she was lucky enough to share the stage with talents such as Simon Burke, Christine Anu and Jemma Rix as part of the mass ensemble. The Light is her first on-screen production and she is planning on doing many more.
“As an actor, it is my job to tell a story through performance. The role of Libby is incredibly important to the story of The Light, and I’m hoping that through the rehearsal process I will be able to make her character as authentic as I can.”
